Recover Physiotherapy, a well-established boutique practice in Glebe, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our esteemed team. We specialise in providing exceptional one-on-one musculoskeletal physiotherapy and clinical pilates classes to our valued clients, primarily local residents and workers aged 45-75.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough musculoskeletal assessments with a compassionate and empathetic approach, taking into account each patient's unique needs.

  • Create personalised treatment plans that address the physical and emotional well-being of our diverse client base.

  • Utilise evidence-based techniques and your exceptional hands-on physiotherapy skills to effectively treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

  • Collaborate closely with two experienced Principal Physiotherapists, fostering a harmonious and supportive working environment.

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.

  • Lead engaging and beneficial clinical pilates classes, focusing on core stability, strength, flexibility, and overall functional performance enhancement.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to professional standards and clinic protocols.

  • Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and the importance of holistic wellness, with your warm and approachable demeanour.

Requirements:​​

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.

  • Demonstrated expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Exceptional clinical assessment and treatment skills, coupled with a compassionate and empathetic approach.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a diverse caseload and prioritise tasks efficiently.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field.

  • Experience in sports physiotherapy and clinical pilates is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience in a boutique or private practice setting is advantageous.

REMEDIAL MASSAGE THERAPIST

 

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced remedial massage therapist to complement our highly successful and sought-after team.

To be successful, you have a proven track-record for quickly building and maintaining a clinical caseload. You are well-presented, confident and outgoing in your interaction with patients, referrers and colleagues. You are attentive, empathic and compassionate in your care of patients. You are self-motivated and disciplined in initiating and executing tasks to completion.


Further, you value customer service, respect your work colleagues valuing their past and present contribution to the practice and enjoy working individually as part of a team.

Finally, you are committed long-term to practising remedial massage therapy in private practice and are prepared to invest time and effort towards establishing yourself as an integral member of our team.


Working alongside three experienced physiotherapists, including a titled physiotherapist, and sports massage therapist in modern surroundings, you will receive and contribute to continuing education and training.

You must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in private practice

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Current AAMT registration and Professional Indemnity Insurance cover
